IJBURG - our neighborhood
IJburg is made up of three islands, Steigereiland (where the B&B is),
Haveneiland and Rieteilanden,
in the IJmeer lake east of the city.
The islands are connected by bridges along its main artery IJburglaan.
IJburg is also connected to the city with a main bridge and a 12-minute tram ride to Central Station.
A biking/walking bridge connects
it to Diemen and
Amsterdam Oost (to city center).
JORDAN - one of the most beautiful
The Amsterdam Jordaan
is undoubtedly the most sung about, described and romanced
town district of the Netherlands.
Started as a district for the poor,
today it is a favorite place
for students, artists
and young profesionals.
Zaanse Schanse - a trip out of town
one of the highlights of the Netherlands,
just outside Amsterdam
that dates back
to the 18th and 19th centuries.
